  • You can also sign up to our Talent Network to receive job alerts and hear about future opportunities. Our team may contact you if a role matches your skills. 


 

Prepare your application

  • Read the job advert carefully. Check the essential criteria and think about how your experience matches the role. 

  • Prepare a personal statement and explain how your skills and values align with the role. 

  • Update your CV. We use anonymous recruitment, so please remove personal details like your name, age and contact information.

  • Click 'apply now' on the job listing to start your application. You can apply using a desktop pc, mobile or tablet. 

  • You’ll be asked to create an account with our recruitment partner, Job Train. This lets you track your application, receive updates and manage interview invitations. 

The application form will guide you through the process. You may be asked to: 

  • Answer eligibility questions (for example qualifications or licences) 

  • Submit a personal statement 

  • Provide evidence of how you meet the criteria 

You can save your progress and return later. Please submit your application before the closing date. We may close adverts early if we receive a high number of applications, so apply as soon as you can.

What happens next

After you apply, you’ll receive a confirmation email. You can track your application through your Job Train account. 

Once the vacancy closes, the hiring manager will review applications against the essential criteria. You’ll receive an email with the outcome. 

If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to choose an interview slot using our online calendar. 

Interview and selection

Most roles include a face-to-face interview. Some may involve other methods, such as assessment centres or online interviews. We’ll send you all the details you need. 

You can request reasonable adjustments to help you perform at your best. If you’d like to discuss this before your interview, contact the hiring manager using the details in your invite.

After your interview

If you're successful

Congratulations! Your preparation and effort have paid off. You're offered the role, here’s what happens next: 

  • Verbal offer: The hiring manager will contact you with a verbal offer. 

  • Offer information: You’ll receive an email asking you to complete offer details. This may include referee information or a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, depending on the role. 

  • Pre-employment checks: All offers are conditional on satisfactory checks. Once completed, you’ll be invited to join our onboarding hub. 

Onboarding hub: You'll be asked to provide key information such as:

  • Right to work documentation 

  • Bank details 

  • Occupational health questionnaire 

  • Some roles may also require a medical assessment. 

Contract and start date: Once everything is processed, you’ll receive your contract and start date to review and accept. 

You’ll be sent a link to our Welcome Hub, which includes: 

  • Induction information 

  • Details about your team and service 

  • Support to help you settle in 

  • You’ll also have the opportunity to speak with your new line manager if you have any questions before your first day.

We understand it can be disappointing not to receive an offer. Every interview is a valuable experience that helps build your confidence and skills.
